This is the final lesson and we hope you have found this programme helpful and easy to use as well as entertaining.
We would love to hear your comments so please let us know what you think and how you get on.
If your baby is under 6 months don’t expect immediate results. In our classes we regularly have babies of 4 months signing but generally our babies tend to be over 10 months. We know babies who have signed within days of seeing signs and others who have taken longer. All babies are capable of signing in just the same way that babies easily learn to wave or to put out their arms for a cuddle… babysign is just an extension of that.
This weeks nursery rhyme is Baa Baa Black Sheep.
One exciting thing for you to be aware of is that once most babies begin to sign, there tends to be an “explosion” of signs. They seem to suddenly realise that this babysigning has benefits. Not only do they get what they want (unless it’s yet another cake) they also make Mummy or Daddy very happy by signing.
One more point; you may think that baby is too young to learn colours but just try it. You will be surprised how early in their development babies recognise colours. Give it a shot, we think you’ll be amazed at how clever your little one is.
Well, this is the end of our information to you. If you feel you want to know something we haven’t covered, please let us know. You should be justifiably proud of yourselves for choosing to learn babysign and for giving your babies a head start in life.
Have fun with your little one and let us know how you get on. We really do want to hear from you!
